How I use Notion 2.0 — online school edition!
A couple of months ago, I wrote a blog post about my journey with Notion and how I organize my life. You can see the article here.
The way I use Notion completely changed when beginning an online term for university this past summer. As most university and high school students will be introduced to online education systems for the first time, I thought it would be useful to follow up on how I leveraged Notion by the end of the term to organize my schoolwork!
A quick disclaimer — you don’t need all these tools to help with your workflow for school. This is meant for people who already use these tools and might find these templates helpful! Everyone works in different ways. My general rule of thumb with whatever organizational system you use, (whether it be Notion or a piece of paper), is to set-up a system for yourself that helps keep your mind and space clear to focus on the task at hand.
Master Calendar
I had a master calendar on my main school Notion page to keep track of the deadlines I had each week for my courses, and my class had a shared Google Calendar without deadlines which were useful as a day-to-day outlook but I enjoyed having the overview on Notion as well and getting the satisfaction of checking the box when it was done.
